Located on beautiful Lake Wheeler in Raleigh, North Carolina, the Raleigh Rowing Center (RRC) promotes the sport of rowing for both recreational and competitive adult rowers. RRC members have a variety of rowing backgrounds. Some joined the club to learn to row, and many joined to continue participating in the sport they loved so much in college or high school. Some are scullers and others prefer sweep rowing. Some row recreationally, and others compete in regattas. Although racing may not be for everyone, as a club we organize boats, train as a team, and enter regattas. In addition to using club equipment, many members have their own singles and doubles and store them on racks at the lake.

RRC is also a community partner and works with the staff at City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department and Lake Wheeler Park. Our club also supports other local rowing programs, including Triangle Rowing Club and NC State Rowing Club.
